Laura is engaging and so knowledgeable, and I left feeling confident that I at least had the tools to deal with almost any emergency that might arise with my dogs. It's frustrating when my dog gets hurt or sick because she can't tell me what's wrong. The first aid instruction I learned from this course has helped me confidently and calmly evaluate her injury/illness. The Four Footed Family Pet First Aid and CPR class is a must for any pet parent or animal lover. The instructors were so knowledgeable and shared so many tips. From what to do if your pet experiences a burn, bone break, snake/animal bite, has bodily trauma, stops breathing, etc- you will learn so much for any situation. While you may never need to act upon the skills, we learned that having the knowledge of what to do in a critical situation can mean a better chance of helping your pet. This course should be mandatory for anyone caring for pets (dog walkers, groomers, dog daycares etc.) One of the several class highlights for me was learning how to bandage a wound. (I mainly grew up with cats but I also had a dog once. And small caged animals in between) I also pet sit on the side.
